What is the average cost of a website for a mid-sized practice
It all depends on the amount of content you want on the website and also how much of that content you create yourself – because you can.
The average cost for a small – medium sized practice will be somewhere between $3,000 - $4,000 all inclusive. It can be less than that if you are doing more of the content deployment but this is a realistic starting point.
How easy is it to change the information on my website?
It is simple.
During the meeting with Web Force 5 they will show you the Content Management System and you will actually create some pages, forms or other content so that you can see for yourself how easy it is.
There are no costs associated with adding or editing content and there are no limits to the amount of information you have on your website.
Is the design fully customised or do I have to choose from templated options?
Every Web Force 5 website is custom designed - we don't do template design.
You would meet with a designer who would facilitate a design briefing meeting structured so that you are made aware of all of your options and to generate ideas that ensures that the final design accurately conveys your branding messages. Within 4 days you would receive the first version of the design and you and your designer work together to make modifications and agree on the final design.
Once you have indicated that you are happy with the design we overlay that design to your Web Force 5 website.

Where is our website hosted
Web Force 5 has partnered with a hosting provider that operates from multiple Data Centres in Australia. We are able to provide standard low cost hosting as well as Premium hosting solutions from our facilities.

The benefit of hosting from multiple data centres is in the unlikely event one of our data centres goes offline, the website switches across to another data centre, keeping your websites downtime to an absolute minimum.

Can we host our own website? If not, why not?
No, we host all of our websites
There are several reasons for this;
- Firstly, if your website was hosted on a server other than our own, you would not have access to our website software platform and all of the functionality that is part of that system.
- We regularly update the website functionality for free and the ongoing upgrade process is managed centrally. If you hosted your website you would not receive these regular enhancements.
- Our support model provides for 45 minutes of personalised support at no cost each month for every customer. Our support staff do not have to learn multiple systems or technical configurations and can hence provide immediate answers to questions.
- We provide all of the security and backup infrastructure as part of the service, replicating this security and backup infrastructure yourself would cost many thousands of dollars.
Can we integrate the website with our Practice Management Software
It depends on what you mean regarding “integration” but the general answer is no, unless you want to pay what can be significant integration costs.
The system can certainly cater for linking to or integrating with your current appointment scheduling system but it will not replace systems like Best Practice, ZedMed, Medical Director. We are happy to discuss your integration requirements when we meet.
The websites are designed to provide information to specific groups, communicate proactively based on the profile of your database of clients/patients and to allow you to control all of the functions associated with these core activities. The system is not designed to replace with other software you may be using.
What does the monthly fee of $50.00 p/m give me?
1) Guidance: A designated Account Manager spends a budgeted 45 minutes with each of our customers every month. That contact can consist of a number of activities that is determined by the customer, including;
a) A review of website traffic and the content visitors are looking at.
b) Planning / Reviewing e-marketing initiatives or plans.
c) Reviewing new functionality leveraged to the website software.
d) Online Shopping results
e) Search Engine Optimisation assistance
2) Free Software Upgrades: Web Force 5 has an ongoing software upgrade process that is based on the feedback and requests we get from our customers. When a customer makes a request or suggestion that would benefit the majority of our website users we simply build that request in to our software capabilities as an integrated part of the overall functionality. This means that our customers website functionality is being continually upgraded for free.
3) License + Back-up: The hosting fee also incorporates the license to the website software, security certification (SSL), backup and redundancy infrastructure and other services that ensure that;
a) Your website remains live
b) Your data is backed up (on-site + off-site) – daily, weekly, monthly.
c) Your database is protected from Spam attacks.
d) Credit Card details are treated so that they remain secure.
4) Traffic: There is a cost associated with the transferring of data from a website to a website visitor (so website visitors can see the content). Our base hosting plan of $50.00 caters for all of the above services and approximately 4,000 individual page views per month. If you exceed the traffic allowance rather than simply sending you a bill for any excess your account manager contacts you, works with you to determine if the traffic trend will continue and helps you make decisions as to whether you remain on the same plan or whether you would be better suited to a different plan.
Web Force 5 never charges for the first month of excess usage – we use it as an opportunity to educate our clients and work with them to make informed decisions.
